Making your own home-made protein bars is simple with this recipe! Take it with you for your next sporting event, picnic, or just when you’re in a hurry.
No Bake Peanut Butter Protein Bars
Ingredients:
Cooking spray
2 cups rolled oats
2 cups puffed cereal
2 Tbsp wheat germ
½ cup peanuts, rough chopped
½ cup dried fruit of your choice (cherries, blueberries, coconut, apricot, etc.)
½ cup creamy peanut butter
2 Tbsp maple syrup
¼ cup honey
1 Tbsp Grapeseed oil
2 scoops Vanilla Bean V-Core Protein
¼ Tbsp cinnamon
Preparation:
Spray a 9×13-inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, mix together oats, puffed cereal, wheat germ, peanuts, and dried fruit. Set aside.
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine peanut butter, maple syrup, honey, grapeseed oil, V-Core Protein, and cinnamon until smooth.
Pour warmed peanut butter mixture over dry mixture and stir with a spatula until combined.
Pour mixture into baking pan and press firmly.
Allow mixture to cool completely before cutting into bars.
