Changing Eating Habits and Mindset Can Make a Big Difference

It is truly amazing what can be done in 365 days. When you are overweight, you often think you can’t do anything. I had that mentality and a medical condition that continued to make me think I couldn’t do anything. With PCOS (polycycstic ovarian syndrome) weighing me down along with no exercise and bad eating habits it was a vicious cycle and the weight continued to rise. I had to do something to change it or I wouldn’t be around long enough to see my children grow up.

On July 2, 2012, I began a lifestyle change with the support of my husband and family. I got off the couch and started the c25k program. I began slowly and with each completion of the day, I felt that much stronger to continue. I was able to complete that program 2 times and completed the c210K program as well. I did all types of cardio such as Combat training, Zumba, Tae Bo, and P90X.

I changed how I ate and began using the ReFirm program from Complete Nutrition. With the help of the ReFirm program and the continued support from the team at Complete Nutrition in St. Joseph, Missouri I am better equipped to continue my journey to a healthy and slimmer lifestyle.
