A New Year, A New You
Jan 01, 2017
Often we think of New Year’s resolutions as synonymous with failure. A recent study found that although 75% of people stick with their resolutions for at least one week, less than half are still working toward their goals six months later.
Stats like these may make you think twice about making resolutions, but don’t hesitate! After all, we know a failure to plan is a plan to fail. Make your resolutions successful this year with these tips:
Set goals you can control
For example, setting a goal to lose x pounds isn’t as effective as committing to working out three times a week and cutting out added sugar. While you cannot directly control the amount of weight you lose, you can control how often you workout and what you eat.
Create checkpoints
Life can be unpredictable and it’s important to stay flexible and make adjustments as needed. Setting an alarm on your phone or making a note in your calendar to review your progress and address any changes needed will keep your goals fresh and manageable.
Work Smarter Not Harder
When it comes to losing weight and improving body composition, it’s important to work with your body’s needs to give it the support it requires. Having a structured plan to help guide your fitness and nutrition is important. Complete Nutrition provides a variety of convenient options and will soon be offering the 21 Day Fast Track Plan to help eliminate the guesswork of getting fit!
